The Art Gallery in historic downtown Willoughby is proud to announce the date for their highly anticipated “Giggles” art show—August 12th to September 2nd. This fun event will feature pieces from a number of local artists, as well as some tasty refreshments that will be available on the opening night. After having to reschedule the show as a result of downsizing, The Art Gallery is happy to invite residents from throughout Mayfield, Ohio; Mentor, Ohio; Beachwood, Ohio and beyond to visit the newly remodeled space and take in some whimsical art from some of the region’s most talented painters and sculptors. Featuring unique paintings, political cartoons, and a few surprises, the upcoming show is sure to be a hit among local art enthusiasts.
On August 12th at 6pm, the “Giggles” art show will officially open to guests. During opening night, residents throughout Mayfield, Mentor, Beachwood, and throughout the entire region will be invited to view these featured works in person, as well as meet the artists themselves. The local artists participating in this fun event include Gerry Shamray, Leslie Edwards Humez, George Kocar, Jaime Lombardo, and Ron Hill. However, those who plan to stop by The Art Gallery during opening night should keep their eyes peeled for a few additional surprises.
Wine and other refreshments will be offered to those who attend the “Giggles” art show during opening night. Those who enjoy unique paintings and sculptures will be able to walk around The Art Gallery’s newly remodeled space while enjoying delicious goodies and talking to the local artists featured in the show about their work. Those who are unable to make it to the opening night of this fun event can still see the character cats of Gerry Shamray, the humorous sculptures of Leslie Edwards Humez, the wild paintings of George Kocar, the political cartoons of Ron Hill, and the hilarious story boards of Jaime Lombardo after August 12th. Since this show will run through September 2nd, The Art Gallery is giving nearby art enthusiasts ample opportunity to participate.
