One keynote speaker that will be at this event in Lyndhurst, Ohio March 8th is Iris Harvey. Ms. Harvey is Vice President of University Relations at Kent State University as well as the first American woman to independently own a corporate enterprise in Tokyo, Japan! Her speech – “Empowering Women”—will give you insight into what it’s like to be a business woman in today’s society and how you can be just as empowered in your own career.
Another one of the professional women speakers that will be presenting at this International Women’s Day gathering is Dr. Jennifer C. Xu. Dr. Xu is a Nanomaterials and Chemical Sensors Researcher for the NASA Glenn Research Center. Her speech –“Engaging Women in Science and Technology”—will be sure to enlighten and inform. Alongside these keynote speakers, there will be a wide range of other activities for those of all genders and ages to enjoy.
