Plus another $93 million that DeWine received to help with foreclosure prevention, assistance to individuals who have experienced foreclosure, and revitalizing neighborhoods by removing blighted properties. Of that $93 million, DeWine allocated $75 million to Moving Ohio Forward and invited leaders of all 88 Ohio counties to apply for demolition grants.

Officials across the state quickly jumped at the chance to revive their areas. Each sought certified, insured, and bonded demolition contractors without which no progress could be made.
