QDA Allows Ohio Students to Take Part in Extracurricular Activities While Still Benefitting from Online Learning

As technology has evolved over the years, education has had to learn to adapt. No longer are traditional brick and mortar institutions the only means to acquire a quality education. Students are now able to take advantage of eSchool enrollment and work on their studies in the comfort of their own homes. However, despite the countless benefits of cyber schooling, there are some drawbacks to using this type of homeschooling versus attending a regular Ohio school. The biggest con to online learning? The lack of extracurricular activities available to students. As students who take classes online aren’t part of a traditional school, they’re unable to socialize with fellow classmates or participate in fun pastimes such as school band or school sports.
