There are many salons in Massillon, Cuyahoga Falls, and throughout the Northeast Ohio region that employee highly educated stylists. However, Scott Talbot Salonspa –with locations in Canton, Ohio and Akron, Ohio—goes above and beyond to provide their beauty technicians with the additional education they need after leaving beauty school to become a professional stylist. One way in which they do this is with their apprenticeship program. Through this six to nine month program, stylists that have very little experience in the industry or are just out of beauty school are given additional training that has them working with educators and taking courses to become more educated in the business before they are put on the floor. Those who have experience are enrolled in a short two week program to acclimate to Scott Talbot Salonspa’s environment.
